Pastor Tom Renardo

ASHTON — The congregation of the Ashton United Methodist Church welcomed Pastor Tom Renardo into the community on July 1.

He and his family are acclimating quickly to Ashton and have felt very welcome by all they the people they have met. Tom and Nikki are the parents of two sons, Cole, 2 1/2 and Kyler, 2 months.

Renardo began his journey as a Christian when he was invited to help build a haunted house with friends. He was a bit baffled when they arrived at the church. He began to participate in youth activities in the church of this southern suburbs of Chicago when he was in high school. He became involved in youth group, worship, a work camp and other Christian related activities.
