ASHTON — The Storm started out with three wins and no losses in bracket play on Saturday, Aug. 1.

On Sunday, the Storm was halted from the championship game by a 2 to 1 loss against Hit-N-Run from Rockford.

The last game for the Storm was a 9 to 1 loss against the 92 Rage from Wisconsin.

The Storm played a total of eight games in the four-day tournament and played teams from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Canada.

The KV Storm 16U Softball team finished the season with two first place championship titles and the third place AFA National Girls Fastpitch Softball 16U Title.

Logan Burnette, of Ashton is a member of the team. She is the daughter of Rod and Lynn Burnette.
