Wet ‘n Wild event

As temperatures soared into the 90s on Saturday, July 18, the Franklin Grove Park Board hosted a Wet n Wild Event at Atlasta Park. The event included squirt guns, games, obstacles, water soaker balls and more. Volunteers from the Franklin Grove Fire Department were on hand to "shower the kids" with fun as well. Theater sale official

ROCHELLE -- The sale of two downtown buildings was finalized on Wednesday as former Rochelle resident Mike McCarty officially purchased the Hub Theater along with the former Graber building.
The closing of the properties is the first step in the development agreement approved between the Florida businessman and the city.

Greyhound Bus adds connection in Rochelle

ROCHELLE, Greyhound, in partnership with Lee County and the Illinois Department of Transportation, recently launched service between Chicago and Davenport, Iowa.  Greyhound Connect will bring Greyhound service to the communities of DeKalb, Rochelle, Dixon, Naperville and Moline and connect those smaller communities with the national intercity bus network.
