ASHTON — The Ashton-Franklin Center School Board met in regular session on Monday, Jan. 25 at the AFC High School library.

The board approved the certified staff retirement list. The list includes Maggie Lawson, 2009, Mardelle Kennay, Jeanne Kuhn and Lyle Lipscomb in 2010, Margie Buhrow and Marilyn Springer in 2011, Barb Fane, George Kretschmar and Kim Toole in 2012 and Cindy Gleissner and Steve Toole in 2013. The board approved the Teacher Tenured Seniority List for 2009-2010.

In other business, the board approved the employment of Chris Jahn as sixth grade girls basketball coach.

The board also conducted their semi-annual review of executive session minutes from the July 2009 through December 2009 board meetings. The minutes will remain closed.
