FRANKLIN GROVE — The Village of Franklin Grove received 27applications through the close of business on Thursday, the last day they could be submitted, to replace Don Fore in the Streets and Alleys maintenance position for the village. Fore retired on Nov. 30 after working nearly 15 years for the village. An appreciation reception was held and a plaque awarded to Fore at Monday’s regular meeting of the Franklin Grove Village Board.
