Kurz leads Raiders in scoring

ASHTON — Kevin Kurz led the AFC fresh soph boy’s basketball team in scoring and rebounding but it wasn’t enough as they fell to Paw Paw 41-49 and the Dakota Indians 27-41

Kurz led with 12 points and 14 rebounds and Bobby Larke added 11 points and five rebounds against the Paw Paw Bulldogs.

Against Dakota, Kurz scored sight points and four rebounds and was helped by Jacob Hilliker and Larke with six points.

The Raiders record falls to 1-5 on the season and they play Thursday night against Durand at 6 p.m.
