AFC wrestling Raiders participate in Orion Tournament

ASHTON — On Friday and Saturday, Jan. 18 and 19, the Raider wrestling team participated in the Orion Invitational Tournament.

Teams participating in the tournament were AFC, Mercer County (Aledo), Camp Point Central, Dakota, Erie-Prophetstown, Gibson City, Kewanee, Macomb, Oregon, Orion, Riverdale, Rockridge, Sherrard, Knoxville, Alleman, Kewanee Wethersfield, Wheaton Academy, and Normal U-High. AFC placed 13th in the tournament.

Representing AFC were Anthony Hahn, Jake Chapman, Josh Kaecker, and Jake Kaecker.

Jake Kaecker finished second at 152 pounds and Anthony Hahn finished third at 113 pounds.
