ASHTON — After losing consecutive road games to Paw Paw and Polo, the Lady Raiders returned home to beat the Milledgeville Missiles on Saturday by a score of 49 – 39.
Alisyn Essex and Sarah Matson lead the scoring with 13 and 12 points respectively.
The rest of the scoring was a balanced team effort, as every player contributed with assists from point guard Lauren Meurer.
Junior Lauren Heal had an excellent third quarter with threerebounds and three free throws. Sophmore Allison Prestegaard was also a factor with four points, five rebounds and two blocked shots in the game.
The Lady Raiders are now 10 – 12 for season.
