Franklin Grove Village Board approves removal of six trees

Lee County notified of state set-aside funds

Dog at large: Tickets, no warning

ASHTON, Ashton Police Chief Jared Yater said that the department is done giving warning tickets to residents that allow their dogs to run lose. They have started issuing tickets for violation of the ordinance.

ASHTON -- A service of remembrance and thanksgiving was held Sunday, Sept. 11 at 4 p.m. to reflect and remember the events of Sept. 11, 2001.
