MIDPINES, Calif. — William E. Trompeter, formerly of Ashton, died March 1, 2017. He was born Nov. 19, 1950, the son of Edward and Frances (Mitchell) Trompeter.
He retired in 2012 after 40 years as a composer, arranger and choral conductor.
He graduated from Ashton High School in 1968 and later received his Bachelors in Music and Master in Humanities from the University of Colorado.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Walk, sister Nancy Argetsinger and brother Ronald Trompeter.
Services will be held in Midpines, Calif. in the spring of 2017.
