ASHTON — The fresh/soph Raiders came up on the short end of a 44-41 score against the Milledgeville Missiles.
After battling back from a 27-17 halftime deficit, the Raiders went on a 14-2 third quarter run to take a 31-29 lead. But defensive woes plagued the Raiders in the fourth quarter and they wound up losing by a score of 44-41.
Jacob Hilliker led the team in scoring with 13 points, Bobby Larke scored 10 points and Kevin Kura added six points.
Defensively, Kurz led the team in rebounds with 10, and both Larke and Hilliker grabbed five rebounds each.
