Ashton residents will have choices to make in April

ASHTON — The race is on. On April 13, the residents of this community will head to the poll to choose leadership for the next few years.

In Ashton, the citizens will choose between current village president John Martinez and past village president Don Ross Jr. for the top village seat.

For trustees, the village will have three open seats which six people are seeking to fill. Richard Russell, Tom Balch and Andrew Kida are each seeking to be reelected to their trustee position. Susan Larson, Billie Jo Heier and Kevin O’Dell are seeking to take those seats for themselves.

The AFC School Board also has seats up for election.
