ASHTON — The Lady Raiders fell behind Amboy 21-2 after the first period. In the second quarter they turned up the defense and started hitting perimeter shots to close the gap 23-18 at halftime.
The Clippers made 10 of 15 free throws in the final period to win 49-34.
The Raiders had balanced scoring with Alisyn Essex, Cassidy Koning, Kayla Colwell and Lauren Meurer all scoring six points.
Earlier in the week, the Raiders lost to Forreston 57-45. Alisyn Essex had 20 points and Sarah Matson added 16.
