DIXON — March 2 through March 8 is Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Illinois, and time to prepare for the upcoming weather season.

 During severe weather situations we all hear about terms such as; Derecho, Bow Echo, Hook Echo, Outflow Boundary, Flanking Line, Supercell Thunderstorm. How would you like to know the definition of these terms and how to look at the sky and determine if severe weather is imminent?
